Location: Pine Trails Park Amphitheatre

The Vibe: This is a signature event displaying "life in Parkland." Be sure to join your neighbors for a huge holiday lighting ceremony, complete with live music and tasty food trucks.



• Snowfest

Date & Time: Thursday, December 18, 2025 • 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Location: Parkland Equestrian Center

The Vibe: Snow in Florida? Sort of! This is the local version of a winter wonderland, featuring snow slides, fun kids' activities, and of course more great food trucks. Guaranteed to be a hit for capturing that fun-family living side of SoFLO!



• Santa's Enchanted Motor Fest

Date & Time: Sunday, December 21, 2025 • 3:00 PM

Location: Pine Island Park, Broward County

The Vibe: Looking for a unique holiday event? This car-show and Santa giveaway adds a fun, local twist to your traditional holiday calendar!



• A Local Business Favorite: Light Up The Night

Date & Time: Thursday, December 7 (past example date) • ~6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Location: Zimmerman & Frachtman, P.A., Parkland

The Vibe: Check for the 2025 date! A great way to see local business culture and charity focus in action, this event will feature food trucks, vendors, and even a visit from Santa.

Light Up the Lawn (Tree Lighting): Saturday, December 6, 2025 • 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at City Hall Lawn.

Holiday Parade: Wednesday, December 10, 2025 • 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM along Sample Road

The Vibe: From the classic tree lighting with a "Snow Zone" to the dynamic parade, these events represent the spirited metro area Parkland is part of. (Note: The Coral Springs Tree Lighting has been revised as "Light Up the Lawn" and is a separate event from the parade.)



• The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade

Date & Time: Saturday, December 13, 2025 • Starts at 6:00 PM

Location: New River, Fort Lauderdale to Lake Santa Barbara, Pompano Beach

The Vibe: A truly spectacular event that speaks to the unique South Florida lifestyle! Dozens of brilliantly lit boats glide along the waterway-an unforgettable sight for any potential out-of-state buyer or local resident.



• Hoffman's Chocolates Winter Wonderland at Flamingo Gardens

Date & Time: Select Evenings, November 22 – December 30, 2025 • 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM

Location: Flamingo Gardens, Davie, FL

The Vibe: Once called "Garden of Lights," this display adds a whole new dimension of wow to the botanical gardens. It's ideal for those interested in things that are festive and celebrate the local nature and charm.



• Celebrating Diversity: Chanukah Events in Fort Lauderdale

Las Olas Oceanside Park Menorah Lighting: Sunday, December 14, 2025 • 6:00 PM

Chanukah Fair: The annual fair features rides, music and food. Check local listings closer to the date for the 2025 location and time!
